One of the heirlooms that has been passed down to me is a pendulum kitchen clock. It sits on a shelf and looks so very distinguished with an embossed griffin on the glass door.I was so pleased when my father gave me the clock, even though it did not work. It is so beautiful! But then for Christmas my four offspring pooled their resources and had the clock fixed.Now the lovely old thing not only looks good, but it sounds great, too! This hat is inspired by that treasured family heirloom.
